David Keefe, Tiptonville David has been shooting trap since 1970 and has amassed 191,000 registered targets. Before that he won his first award, a turkey, at the age of 9. In 1971, at age 13, he won the Vandalia Handicap at the Grand American with 99. His uncle and coach, the great Bill Eldred, had won the same event in 1935. The photo is from that big win at the Grand. He won many other events at the Grand, Southern Zone and Western Zone. David farms in the area around Tiptonville, near Reelfoot Lake
